The Seven Summits List

There are two lists of the Seven Summits, the Richard Bass list (1985) and the Reinhold Messner list (1986). The only difference in the two is that on the Messner list, Carstensz Pyramid, the biggest mountain on the Australasian plate, replaces Mt Kosciuszko. I will be attempting the Messner list of Seven Summits.

5.Carstensz Pyramid 4884 m November 2011 TBC. West Papua.    Summated 12th Oct 2011 

6.Vinson Massif 4892 m January 2012 . Antartica.                              Summated Jan 17th 2012

7. Mt Everest 8850 m May 2013 . Nepal.
