The Mission

Luke Richmond, an Australian adventurer has climbed five of the seven highest mountains on the seven continents. He has one more to do before finishing with the mighty Mt Everest. He is raising awareness for the Children’s Hospital at Westmead who care for over 70000 children annually and the Royal Flying Doctor Service, who have been the medical lifeline for Australians living in the vast Australian outback for many years. In between expeditions Luke owns and operates BoxHQ in Sydney where he trains hard for the ever looming Mt Everest.

Back in Action

When you are not practicing, remember, someone somewhere is practicing, and when you meet him he will win.’

It has been a very busy week my first week back, I have jumped straight back into training, thrown out the folders on Denali and am focusing my sights on Mt Elbrus. It is a quick turn around before I head to Russia, I have four weeks of training and then its time to hit the hills again. I have had to alter my route on the mountain as there is some instability on the South Side that borders with Georgia. We will now attack from the North which although is slightly harder logistically will be a great route to try my skills on.

Yesterday I wrote up a workout titled the Seven Summits, I wanted it to be as tough as the Name deserves and it definately didnt dissapoint. I failed to complete this workout in the allowed time so I now have a second Seven Summits that I must Conquer, try this and let me know how you go.
